What are Emergent LARPs?
Emergent LARP is a form of American gameplay that combines narrative and consent-driven negotiation with more traditional competitive elements, creating a game in which competition and freeform play all work together to support each other in the same space. Typically, they have limited runs.
What are Campaign LARPs?
The Larp Co-op recognizes and defines Campaign LARPS by continuous narratives without a set ending point, and mechanical character progression that can lead to a strong sense of accomplishment and narratively driven play.
Campaign LARPS often times have actors or NPC's that act on behalf of a storytelling team, and play denizens of the world that advance a set storyline in both overt and subtle ways.
